The Primitive Tart Shop

The Primitive Tart Shop have really unique scents – Banana Caramel Drizzle anyone? It’s cheap – USD 60c per individual wax tart – and the customer service is great. When it arrived, I was a bit skeptical at first. The tarts were packaged in small cellophane bags but they weren’t tightly wrapped so in the post, they had started to crumble at the sides. That’s just me being nit picky about packaging though!

The tart scents were on/off – some were great, some not so, so I guess it just depends on personal taste. Not bad if you don’t have a lot to spend.

Bazooka Bubble Gum
On a cold sniff, smelt just like the real thing! And smelt even better when melted. Very strong bubble gum scent but after the first few hours of melting, it starts to develop a sweet sugary pink scent which I just loved!

Cotton Candy
Didn’t smell like cotton candy at all and had weak throw. Smelt sweet but not sure what it was supposed to be.

Froot Loop
Supposed to smell like the cereal when you open the box but I think this smelt a little more like laundry detergent than the actual cereal. Not a very sweet smell.. more like toxic.

Frost Bite
I’m guessing this is also like Jack Frost. Medium throw. Took time getting used to but once settled smelt amazing. Very refreshing without being overpowering. It’s easy with a peppermint scent to be too strong but this was perfect. Would definitely order this again!

Sugar Milk
Medium throw but I love the scent. Smelt very much like condensed milk that’s been heated up. Or like sweet bread baking. One of my favourite’s from her shop. Only order this if you like sweet scents.
